Interlibrary Loan Options for Students

Loans from the Community College Libraries In North Carolina (CCLINC) Consortium:

Currently-enrolled students, faculty, and staff members of Vance-Granville Community College may request materials from any one of the 45 member libraries of the CCLINC Consortium. To determine which items are owned by these member libraries, please use the online catalog and select the word “ALL” from the drop-down menu under “Library.” This will allow you to search the online catalogs of all member libraries at once for a specific item.

If a member library owns the item you are looking for, please visit the VGCC LRC / Library closest to you and fill out an Interlibrary Loan Request Form. Once your request has been submitted, delivery usually takes 5-10 days. For this reason, please submit your requests early if you need the materials to complete class assignments.

Interlibrary Loan Options for Faculty

Loans from the OCLC Resource Sharing System (WorldCat):

Full-time and part-time faculty and staff members of Vance-Granville Community College may also request materials from the OCLC Resource Sharing System. This system’s members include public, college, university, and special libraries from across the United States. If you would like to borrow from the OCLC system, please contact the Library at (252) 738-3279.  Delivery of these materials can take up to a week or more, so please submit your requests early if you need them for specific events, such as a class or a conference presentation.

USE THE SEARCH TOOL BELOW TO SEARCH THE OCLC (WorldCat) SYSTEM.

NOTE: For Libraries Worldwide Searches configure to our local ZIP (27536) to locate nearest resources.
